Mandala
(Sanskrit man.d.ala "essence" + "having" or "containing",
also translates as "circle-circumference" or "completion")

Mandala is a concentric diagram having spiritual and ritual significance. The term
is of Hindu origin, but is also used in other Indian religions, particularly Buddhism.
They are also a key part of meditation practices.

In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be employed for focusing attention of aspirants and adepts; as a spiritual teaching tool; for establishing a sacred space; and as an aid to meditation and trance induction. Its symbolic nature can help one "to access progressively deeper levels of the unconscious, ultimately assisting the meditator to experience a mystical sense of oneness.

The sacred circle can be seen everywhere in nature - galaxies, our planet, flowers, individual cells - it can be seen everywhere. The energy of these powerful patterns are poured into all Mandalas. Every Mandala symbolizes or represents an aspect of nature and/or spirit. This energy can be used to help heal and transform through meditation.
